Situated in the same listed building as our Central Boutique apartment, this property is located in the city centre close to Central Station and the Dam Square. Central Studio offers an excellent perspective with large windows overlooking the street side.
Apartment
This modern studio benefits from plentiful natural light, its large windows offering a bright view out over the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. The apartment combines a living and sleeping area to offer an extensive range of facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, cable television and a DVD entertainment centre. The bathroom has a single shower unit and a toilet. The building housing the studio is an elegant throwback to the 17th century, constructed in 1634 and protected as a listed national monument. Access to the apartment is via steep stairs and therefore unsuitable for disabled people or large suitcases.
Area
Located close to Central Station, this apartment is a stone’s throw from all the city’s major shopping streets. The Royal Palace, Nieuwe Kerk (the New Church) and the Dam Square are all within very easy walking distance. Situated in the heart of Amsterdam’s famous canals, countless restaurants, small cafés, and boutique shops surround the apartment and await easy exploration on foot. More mainstream shopping at the Magna Plaza and Bijenkorf malls is also available nearby.
