The surrounding area is known as the ‘9-Straatjes’, nine small streets crossing the city centre’s main canals; Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht. The 9-straatjes is famous for its diverse array of specialised shopping, fantastic cuisine and wide selection of Amsterdam cafés. The Prinsengracht is Amsterdam’s largest canal, this apartment located right at the centre of it with the popular Anne Frank House just a few blocks away.
