The Keizersgracht (literally translated as the Emperor's Canal) is the second of three major canals running through Amsterdam’s city centre, the Herengracht and the Prinsengracht lying to either side. Although one of the city’s relatively calmer areas, this corner of town is still within a five-minute walk of major centres like Rembrandt Square.
